In 1971, a gathering of old car nuts saw fit to start up the Motor City Region of the Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada (ACCCC) which was based out of the City of Oshawa.  Over the years this family oriented old car group continued to have a great deal of fun, prosper and grow.  Along the way it was decided to change the name to the Durham Region (ACCCC) to better reflect the membership base which covers all of the regional municipality as well as some from outside.  Currently we have members from the Durham Region in Ontario, which includes the municipalities of Ajax, Bowmanville, Oshawa, Pickering, Whitby, or Brock, Clarington, Scugog and Uxbridge.   What has never stopped happening is the fun and friendship for all the families that belong.
Our region tries to have at least one event every month with the April through October events being driving focused (with an eating component).  November to March features largely indoor meets (with an eating component).   Did you hear that the ACCCC Durhamites like to socialize and eat?
Our past events have included a games night, auctions, Durham Domestics nights where the men provide the food, touring inspections, Old Times's tours, picnics, visits to nursing homes, tours to cottage country, tours to country shows and fall fairs, a Dead Limb (fall) tour, restoration seminars, guest speakers, our Annual General Meeting and a Christmas Social to name but a few.  As the saying goes, "Come for the cars, stay for the friendship".

so......

If you and your partner would like to have a choice of fun and interesting events to participate in each month of the year. And at least one of you is interested in older cars, especially as they came from the factory, and liking to eat helps. You would feel right at home with us.
Did I mention that the Durhamites like to laugh and eat?
